Sonja completed her MSc Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University. She gained broad clinical experience across NHS settings on placement, including musculoskeletal outpatients, inpatient neurorehabilitation, acute respiratory care, chronic pain management, and pelvic health. Prior to training in the UK, she worked as a Therapy Assistant in physiotherapy clinics in Canada, supporting patients through rehabilitation and return to function.
Her approach focuses on evidence-based rehabilitation, building movement confidence, and restoring functional independence. Sonja works collaboratively with patients to create individualised treatment plans that support recovery from injury, manage persistent pain, and improve strength, mobility, and day-to-day function.
Whether supporting recovery after injury, addressing long-standing movement problems, or improving strength and resilience, Sonja aims to help people move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities that matter most to them.
